Second, Apollo 14: The Moon Book, 9 x 12.5, signed and inscribed on the reverse of the first free end page, “Dot, Aim high, Jim Irwin Apollo 14,” and “Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14.” In fine condition. This rare book, compiled by the crew of the New Orleans, chronicles the events leading up to the splashdown and recovery of the command capsule, as well as the handling of the crew and capsule afterwards. And third, a copy of Spaceport News from March 25, 1971, 9.5 x 12, 8 pages, signed at the top in black felt tip, “Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14.” In fine condition, with staple holes to top and some light toning.
