Pierre C. Cartier

Renowned jeweler (1878–1964) who founded the New York branch of the legendary French luxury-goods emporium that had been created by his father. Partly-printed DS, one page, 8es and.25 x 7.5, December 24, 1935. Receipt in which Cartier sells, assigns, and transfers to Wiley & Company “One hundred (100) Shares of the Capital stock of the Irving Trust Company.” Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Cartier and countersigned by three representatives. Includes the original stock certificate. In fine condition, with expected cancellation hol document wear, and a small pencil cancellation notation passing through the last name in his signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
