Scarce limited edition 1996 Martin MTV-1 ‘Unplugged’ acoustic guitar, numbered 398/696, serial number 577276, constructed using a gorgeous combination of mahogany and rosewood for the body, a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, and ebony fretboard inlaid with paua shell lettering reading “Unplugged.” The headstock is marked “Martin & Co.” with an MTV logo inlay below, and the original label remains intact inside the soundhole. Includes the original paperwork. In fine condition. Accompanied by a hardshell case. One of the most unique features of this MTV limited edition guitar is the split tone wood on the reverse side of the instrument, an enhancement emphasized by Martin in their advertising. Oversized.
