TLS, one page, 5.75 x 7.75, personal letterhead, May 24, 1963. Letter to Joyce Huddart, in part: “’Tovarich’ is going very well, and we are moving to a very much nicer theatre on June 10th. I am torn between wanting it to run, and wanting to be home. The countryside is looking really ravishing at the moment, and I get out whenever I can at week-ends. The Theatrical Season on the whole has been very poor indeed.” In very good to fine condition, with a tiny tear to left edge, and overall toning from adhesive remnants on reverse.
