George S. Patton

Humongous pencil signature, “G. S. Patton, Jr., May 2, 1928,” on an off-white 5 x 4 album page. Archivally double-matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 17.5 x 13. Moderate scattered soiling, otherwise fine condition. During this period between World Wars I and II, Patton was assigned to the Office of the Chief of Cavalry in Washington, where he began to develop the concepts of mechanized warfare. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
