Henry Clay Frick

Prominent American industrialist (1849–1919) who served as president of U.S. Steel and assembled a world-class art collection now housed in the New York museum that bears his name. Fifth Avenue Bank check, 7 x 2.25, filled out in another hand and signed by Frick, “H. C. Frick,” payable to Cash for $990.94, December 30, 1905. Nicely double-matted and framed with a portrait of Frick to an overall size of 14.25 x 17.25. In fine condition, with expected bank stamps and cancellation cuts, and a central vertical fold. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
