Description

Airmail cover postmarked at Wheeling, West Virginia, on October 27, 1931, signed in fountain pen by James H. Doolittle, Postmaster Fred E. Cowl, aircraft manufacturer Edward Stinson, Lieutenant Howard F. Rough, John Collings, George W. Haldeman, and two others. A pencil notation also indicates that Post and Gatty were there. Light bands of toning from envelope adhesive, otherwise fine condition.
