In part: “Some time during the latter part of July or early in August…a carbeurater was returned either to The Studebaker Corporation at Detroit or to The Studebaker Corporation of America, Boston. Won’t you kindly look through your express receipts and see if you have a receipt covering such a shipment.” Pencil notations in the upper right concern the dates of shipment.
