A standard Screen Actors Guild minimum freelance contract between Beaumont and Universal Pictures for him to “render service…in the role of Dr. Jud Bellamin, in a photoplay, the working title of which is now Mole People.” Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Beaumont and a producer, and initialed in ballpoint by another representative. An additional rider initialed by all three is stapled to the reverse, stating that in the credits Beaumont’s name “shall appear first of the names of the featured members of the cast.” Expected document wear, scattered creases, and tears to filing holes at the top edge, otherwise fine condition.
