Description

Charles Lindbergh

Series 1935 A ‘short snorter’ one dollar silver certificate, signed vertically to the left of Washington’s portrait in fountain pen, “C. A. Lindbergh,” and also signed by six others. General wear with folds, creases, soiling, tack holes to edges, and several of the other signatures extremely faded, otherwise very good condition. An interesting format, likely signed during Lindbergh’s time in the South Pacific; serving as a consultant with the United Aircraft Company, he flew in over 50 missions while training Corsair pilots in World War II. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
