Magnificent oversized portrait of Rushmore’s Washington

Fantastic matte-finish 16 x 13 photo of Mount Rushmore under construction as George Washington’s face is completed, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “Greetings to W. C. Lusk, Sincerely, Gutzon Borglum. National Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Black Hills, South Dakota.” Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 22 x 19. In very good condition, with a tear to the left edge, scattered creases, and a few specks of surface loss. W. C. Lusk was a newspaperman who owned the Yankton Press and Dakotan. An appropriately large photograph of the immense sculpture in progress. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
