TLS in French, signed “C. de Gaulle,” one page, 8.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, November 13, 1952. Letter to Commander Boissiere. In part (translated): "It is with a great pleasure I’ve known your are back to France; I would be happy to see you if you come to Paris sometimes in the same time. You could get in touch with my office.” In very good condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds with tiny edge separations, overall creases, light soiling, and filing holes to the left edge. Boissiere was the brother-in-law of Charles de Gaulle and returned from London to France eight years after the end of World War II. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
