Boulle” and “Pierre Boulle,” one page, 5.25 x 8.25, January 30, 1953. In part (translated): “I’ve read your article about my last book 'The Bridge on the River Kwai' in the newspaper 'Rayonnement des Lettres' under the name 'Novelist without crown.'…I forgive you because of the good things you wrote and your kind appreciation. I thank you deeply for [what] you have shown, the analysis you’ve done so deeply, and the general idea you’ve taken away." In fine condition, with light creases and a brush to the date at the top.
