Collection of four items sent to “Tony Foster,” including: three TLSs by Bing Crosby, each signed “Bing,” all dated 1957. One, in part: “You know I had a very front row seat at the Dunes and one of those strippers almost laid the money right in my chop suey. I was amused and entertained, but I can’t say that my appetite was whetted one whit. Had a real fine time at Vegas though—won a little money.” Another, in part: “I may be up in Vegas this week for Dean Martin’s opening. Some of his friends from Hollywood are going up to give him a little support.” Also includes a glossy 10 x 8 photo, signed and inscribed to “Tony” in fountain pen by Mickey Rooney and Jerry Lester. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by original mailing envelopes for the three letters. Irwin Oster began collecting movie star autographs as a teenager in the 1940s. Later, when he made his way into show business, Irwin changed his name to Tony Foster; he worked in Las Vegas with Tony Martin and was close friends with Bing Crosby. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
