Uncommon folding chessboard, measuring 13.75 x 13.5 open, signed inside in black felt tip by Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky, adding the year 1992. In fine condition. In 1992, Fischer again defeated Spassky in a rematch of their 1972 World Championship ‘Match of the Century.’ The match took place in Yugoslavia, which was under a United Nations embargo at the time, and Fisher’s participation in the event led to major legal troubles with the US; with a warrant awaiting him in the states, he lived the rest of his life as an emigre.
