Extremely desirable 7 x 5 handbill for shows by Big Brother & the Holding Company, Charles Lloyd, and the Sir Douglas Quintet at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, March 17–18, 1967, signed in black ballpoint, “Love, Janis Joplin, xxx.” In fine conditionn. This was an early performance by Joplin and her band, Big Brother & the Holding Company, whose ‘big break’ came a few months later at the Monterey International Pop Music Festival.
