An unusual collector’s certificate filled out in type, in part: “It is the greatest invention a man has ever made, that this marking down the unseen thought that is in him by written character of autographing his name of force. Hon. Charles Evans Hughes, Chief Justice…Presents His Autograph to Robley Durham Stevens of Philadelphia, To add to his collection of Kings, Presidents, Celebrities and men and women of world renown.” A red wax seal is affixed to the lower right. In fine condition, with two vertical folds with tiny tape-repaired separations at the top edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
