Wonderful original ink and pastel hand-done sketch of a space craft zooming over the sun, moon, and ocean on a First Day Cover with a cachet honoring “Space Achievement,” signed in black ink, “Robert T. McCall.” Cover also bears a May 21, 1981, postmark from Kennedy Space Center, nicely integrated into the sketch as the sun, and an 18-cent postage stamp depicting an astronaut exploring the moon. Removably matted in corner mounts to an 8.5 x 11 presentation sheet with information on the cover and the artist. In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Zarelli.
