Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.25 x 9.25, April 2, 1829. President Jackson grants Edward Thomas of Ohio a parcel of land in "Crawfordsville Indiana containing Eighty five acres." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Jackson and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains crisp and fully intact. In fine condition, with two vertical folds (one passing through the very beginning of Jackson's signature) and scattered creases and wrinkles. A highly appealing presidential document signed less than a month into his first term.
