Double-matted with a nameplate, “Alpine Valley, August 26, 1990,” to an overall size of 20 x 16. In fine condition. Hours after performing with Double Trouble and Eric Clapton at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Michigan, Vaughan and three members of Clapton’s entourage perished when adverse weather caused their helicopter to crash into a nearby ski hill. A bittersweet image of Vaughn’s last show, captured by one of rock’s most legendary photographers.
