Ferdinand Foch

French military officer (1851–1929) who served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in the final months of World War I. Handsome World War I-era 3.5 x 5.25 postcard photo by Henri Manuel of General Foch in uniform, signed in black ink, “F. Foch.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of transmittal from his Chief of Cabinet, Claude Pupier, dated February 16, 1918. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
