Collection of three items: two bankroll checks, both dated 1980, each endorsed on the reverse by the pitcher named, “Gaylord J. Perry” and Rollie Fingers; and a TLS signed by Ralph Kiner, one page, 8.5 x 11, official San Diego Baseball Company letterhead, February 7, 1961. Letter to Mr. David Newkirchen reads, in part: “I hope that you continue your interest in sports, especially baseball, as I am sure that it will serve you in good stead the rest of your life.” In overall fine condition, with expected bank stamps, and a gentle fold and two tiny spots of discoloration to the Fingers.
