Bold vintage ink signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr on an off-white 6 x 2 card, with a collector’s notation below McCartney’s signature reading, “Beatles, Springfield Theatre, August 7, 1963.” In fine condition, with a central vertical fold (not affecting any signatures) and a couple stray ink spots affecting Lennon’s signatures. These Beatles signatures date to the beginning of their breakthrough to international stardom. Their second single, ‘From Me to You,’ began to catch on in America thanks to airplay on Los Angeles’s KRLA radio station, and on August 10th it peaked at number 116 on the ‘bubbling under’ portion of the Billboard Hot 100—the first time the Beatles appeared on a national chart in the United States.
