Glossy 9.5 x 7 German press photo of Qian Qichen (left, Chinese foreign minister from 1988 to 1998), Foreign Minister of Germany Hans-Dietrich Genscher, and Li Peng (fourth premier of China from 1987 to 1998) posing with five other politicians, nicely signed along the bottom border by all three in black felt tip. In fine condition, with a couple of minor surface impressions, and a few specks of silvering to some darker areas of the image. The photo was signed in Beijing on November 1, 1988, following the opening of a branch of the Goethe-Institut, the first foreign cultural center in China.
