Fantastic postal cover, 6.5 x 3.5, postmarked at Kitty Hawk on December 17, 1934, the 31st anniversary of the Wright Brothers’ historic first flight, signed in fountain pen, “Orville Wright.” Also postmarked twice on the reverse on the same day, once again at Kitty Hawk and once in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Reverse is also signed in fountain pen by the postmasters of the respective cities, “H. M. Baum” and “L. C. Weimer.” Baum also penned his return address on the front of the cover. In fine condition, with stray ink blots to left side. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
