Description

Badfinger: The Iveys

British rock band that formed in 1961 and changed their name to Badfinger eight years later when bassist Ron Griffiths was replaced by guitarist Joey Molland. Felt tip signatures of Dai Jenkins, Pete Ham, Mike Gibbins, and Ron Griffiths on an off-white 5 x 4.5 slip, with all but Pete Ham signing first name only. Mike, Pete, and Ron signed circa 1968, with the Dai Jenkins signature added decades later through the mail. In fine condition, with a small stain to left edge and a tiny tear to top edge (trivially affecting Griffiths’s signature). Accompanied by two handwritten letters from Jenkins, in part: “It was a privilege to play rhythm guitar with Pete in the swinging sixties. It seems like light years away now, but never the less I still have fond memories.” Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL.
