Geoffrey O’Hara

Canadian-American composer, singer, and music professor (1882–1967) who wrote over 500 popular and patriotic songs and hymns. AMQS on an off-white 4.25 x 3.5 slip, signed and inscribed in ink, “For Betty Steigerwalt, with best wishes of Geoffrey O’Hara, Oct. 12, 1927.” O’Hara pens two bars of music and lyrics from the popular song ‘K-K-K-Katy.’ Affixed to a slightly larger card. Wrinkling and show-through to edges from adhesive to reverse, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
