TLS, one page, 7.25 x 11, personal letterhead, April 6, 1942. Letter to poet Joseph Auslander at the Library of Congress. In part: “I am sorry I didn’t get around to those manuscripts for the Library of Congress but I really have been tied up, the last few months, in Hollywood with a motion picture [Holiday Inn, which introduced his famous song ‘White Christmas’]. At the moment, I am getting ready to produce a show for the Army Relief.” Light scattered stains and creases, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
