American showman (1860–1942) who began his career as a trapper and Pawnee interpreter and later became a partner in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. ALS signed “Geo. Lillie, Pawnee, Okla,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Pawnee Bill Oil letterhead, February 7, 1923. Letter to cowboy actor Chuck Haas. In part: “Have not heard anything from you in a long time. Any thing new on the motion pictures. I wish you would kindly return me those photos of the desperadoes I loaned you.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds.
