Two 7.75 x 9.25 photos, each signed and inscribed in blue ink in French to renowned surgeon and collector Dr. Max Thorek, both dated September 1, 1955. The first shows a map of Schweitzer’s Forest Hospital, while the second shows the doctor being paddled up stream. Each photo is affixed to an identical size mount.
