Description

Rolling Stones

German newspaper page from February 20, 1969, trimmed to a size of 15 x 13.5, featuring an article on the Stones, as well as an image of the band from their Rock and Roll Circus, signed in black felt tip by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman. Signatures were obtained by a female fan outside of the Olympic Studios where the band was recording their Let It Bleed album. Accompanied by five color candid photos of the band members, including one of Watts holding the newspaper, as well as a printout of three additional photos, one of which shows Jones holding the paper, and a second-generation photo of Jones outside the studio, affixed to a page of the collector’s scrapbook. Also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Intersecting folds passing through a few letters of signatures, a uniform shade of mild toning, and noticeable signature contrast to Wyman’s signature against the text, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
