Legendary no-nonsense Tennessee lawman (1937–1974) whose story was adapted into the popular Walking Tall films. He died at the age of 36 in an auto accident that many believe to have been the result of foul play. Shell credit card receipt, 4.75 x 3.25, dated February 25, 1965, for gas and two tires for his sheriff’s car, signed vertically along the right edge by Pusser. In fine condition, with a couple small cancellation holes around signature. Accompanied by an unsigned 1964 Withholding Tax Statement and a “Pusser for Sheriff” campaign rear window hanger.
