Description

Otto Hahn

German chemist (1879–1968) who won the 1944 Nobel Prize for the discovery of nuclear fission. ALS in pencil in German, signed “Otto,” one page on a 3.5 x 5.5 postcard, March 31, 1915. Letter to his wife Edith. In part (translated): “I was back 5 days and 5 nights…After dinner I expect to go to Ghelume and there will send mail.” In fine condition, with creases to corners. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
