L.,” in full: “Delighted that I am going to be one of the five Pieces of Maria. Looking forward to meeting you soon.” The DS is a general release for Five Pieces of Maria, signed “Peter Lawford,” five pages, February 6, 1963, also countersigned by his manager Milton Ebbins. Also includes some retained carbon copies of letters concerning the agreement, a letter from an agent, and an 18-page unsigned carbon copy of a related contract.
