Two TLSs [typed letters signed], both one page, 8.5 x 11. First letter is on Walt Disney Productions letterhead, dated May 22, 1942, signed by Hal Adelquist of the company’s personnel department, and is a letter of recommendation for junior accountant Philip Hoffman who is to be inducted into the army. Second letter is on Walt Disney Unit Motion Pictures Workers letterhead, dated December 14, 1944, is signed by president Harry Barnick, and was accompanied by a small Christmas bonus to Hoffman, who was stationed at Fort MacArthur. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, presenting a nice WWII stamp. In fine condition, with a few mild creases.
