I. 524, with art done by Anton Otto Fischer, showing a battleship going up in flames as the few battered survivors row away, with “A careless word…a needless sinking,” printed above and below the image. Printed at the bottom is “U.S. Government Printing Office: 1942-O-502219.” In fine condition, with a couple of small separations to intersecting folds, and some mild toning and edge dings to borders.
