Jack London and Bret Harte

Two items: first, a bank check, 6 x 2.5, filled out and signed by London, “Jack London,” payable to W. H. Moore for $1.50, September 28, 1909. Double-matted and framed with a head-and-shoulders portrait to an overall size of 11.75 x 16. Second, an ink signature, “Bret Harte,” on an off-white 3.5 x 2.25 slip. Nicely matted and framed with a formal portrait to an overall size of 9 x 14.5. In fine condition, with cancellation holes to check lightly affecting beginning of signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
