Early matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of MacArthur in full dress uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To the Lours, with cordial regards, Douglas MacArthur, Aug 26, 1930.” In fine condition, with light contrast to signature against the busy background of his uniform. Less than three months after signing this photo, MacArthur would be sworn in as Chief of Staff of the United States Army, with the rank of General.
