Accomplished in graphite on animation paper. Image measures 3.5 x 5, with a mat opening of 11.25 x 8.25. This piece is also framed to an overall size of 20 x 17. In fine condition. As the first Disney sound cartoon, Steamboat Willie is generally considered the debut of Mickey Mouse, and in it Mickey uses mallets such as these to play a drum. A highly important piece of cartoon history.
