(Walt Disney Studios, 1936) Original production drawing featuring Mortimer Mouse from Mickey’s Rival. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper. Image measures 5.5 x 7, and shows Mortimer dressed as a gaucho, complete with cape, using two turkey bones as castanets. In fine condition. This short was the first appearance of Mortimer, who was vying for the affection of Minnie Mouse throughout the short.
