(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production drawing featuring Chernabog from Fantasia, showing the villainous demon from the ‘Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria’ segment animated by Vladimir ‘Bill’ Tytla. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 15.5 x 12.5 animation paper. Image measures 10.5 x 8. In fine condition, with a couple trivial tears to lower left corner. Chernabog has been praised as Disney’s best representation of pure evil, as well as Tytla’s greatest triumph in animation.
