Terrific handwritten note and self-portrait sketch, signed “R. Crumb,” on a 5.25 x 3.25 postcard depicting a pin-up girl, April 30, 1975. Crumb writes to an aspiring cartoonist, in full: “Some pretty funny cartoons you sent me…Keep up the good work and someday…who knows…you may turn out to be a big famous jerk like me!!” Below, he sketches a detailed caricature of himself tipping his cap.
