ALS signed “G. W. Carver,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute letterhead, January 24, 1930. Letter to Mr. Thompson. In part: “Mr. H. O. Abbott, has charge of the entire itineraries. I have not kept up with it, don’t know what way I will go even. I have told Mr. Abbott when I must be back here at Tuskegee, I do not know all the places where I am to speak as telegrams, letters, etc, etc are coming in right along, & turn them over to him to do the best he can.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, some edge tears, staple holes to top left, and a uniform shade of toning.
