ALS signed “A. Conan Doyle,” one page, 5 x 7, personal letterhead, December 9, 1922. Letter to R. D. Blumenfeld, who served as the editor of London’s Daily Express newspaper from 1902 to 1932. In full: “I was so sorry to hear that you were ill and I sincerely hope you are well on your way to recovery.” Central vertical and horizontal folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature) and adhesive remnants to corners, otherwise fine condition.
