Scarce original silver Disneyland ‘opening day’ Invitational Press Preview and dedication ticket, 6 x 3, for the July 17, 1955, opening of Disneyland, with the reverse bearing a printed map of the Anaheim area. Matted to an overall size of 11.75 x 7.5. Some scattered light surface rubbing, otherwise fine condition. Broadcast on live television, and hosted by Ronald Reagan and Art Linkletter, the opening would earn the name of ‘Black Friday,’ due to the overcrowding and park issues that arose. RR Auction COA.
