Very appealing pin from the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, England. Oval-shaped gold-plated pin measures approximately 31mm x 21mm, and shows the Olympic rings in color surrounded by an artistically appealing white enamel oval border, with “XIV Olympiad, London 1948,” in raised letters around the edge. In fine condition. Few pieces were made for these 1948 Olympics due to the economy after the end of World War II.
