As governor of Virginia, Henry certifies “to all whom it may concern that William Dandridge Claiborne gentleman is one of the Commonwealths Magistrates for the County of King William.” Document retains most of the affixed red wax seal, with significant wear. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, noticeable dampstaining (partially affecting the signature), and a few other stains. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
