Max Skladanowsky

German inventor and early filmmaker (1863–1939) who, with his brother, invented the Bioskop projector, which they used on November 1, 1895, to display the first moving picture show to a paying audience. Fountain pen signature and inscription, in German, signed, “Max Skladanowsky, Inventor of the Bioscope, Copenhagen 11-10-36” on an off-white 5 x 7.5 album page, with a clipped newspaper photo affixed below the signature. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
