Rare engraved vignette portrait of the exterior of the White House, 5 x 3.75, signed in black ink as president, “Ronald Reagan, President, June 15 ’87” and as vice president, “George Bush, vice-president, U. S. A.” Handsomely archivally suede-matted and framed to an overall size of 15 x 26.5. In very fine condition. A scarce and desirable uninscribed engraving, signed by both Republican executives during the defining presidential administration of the 1980s—these are virtually impossible to find with the added “president” and “vice-president” titles, and as such this example is of the utmost desirability. Although the vignette is a familiar format, we have never encountered anything comparing to this historically inscribed piece.
