Flown hatch plug, flown on board the Yankee Clipper during the Apollo 12 mission. Plug measures .75″ long, and is housed in a small plastic pouch stapled to an 8 x 4.5 card which bears a statement of authenticity signed by Dick Williamson, which reads, in part: “I certify this hatchplug was flown on the Apollo 12 second moon landing mission. This hatchplug is one of several that were removed…after Yankee Clipper was recovered.” Card is also signed by Richard Gordon and Alan Bean, both adding their mission under their signatures.
